Dyson Pedestal Fan

If you do not look very closely you would think that Dyson AM03 Pedestal Fan is a gigantic silver tennis racquet. Its design does not look anything like the fans we are all used to seeing in our homes.

Normally fans would have blades, they are supposed to rotate so that they distribute the air in your room. This Dyson Pedestal does not have any blades. It sucks in air from the base area and then drives it up the tube, which then distributes the air equally the whole way around the Air Multiplier, which is the loop at the top of the fan.

This air when it comes out over the aerodynamically designed loop surface, sucks in more air from behind the fan. Hence the name Air Multiplier. You can get as much as eighteen times more air when you stand about one meter from the fan. This fan is not heavy at all so you can easily carry it around the house to where you need it the most.

When used with your home's air conditioning you can lower your energy bill by up to 20% annually. You can use the small remote control to adjust the airflow and the speed at which the fan turns from anywhere. You can actually raise or lower the loop, and angle it in different directions.

The Dyson Pedestal Fan is easy to clean, you just need a cloth to wipe it down. It is one of Oprah's favourite things after she was introduced to it on a visit to the house of reality TV stars the Kardashian's. As with all the other Dyson products the fan is quite expensive, but is worth it.
