Cuisinart PerfecTemp Cordless Electric Kettle Review

This kettle is more perfectly suited for making tea, this is because tea is very specific when it comes to the temperature of the water that you use to make it. There are delicate teas that only require warm water to make a cup.

The PerfecTemp Cordless Electric Kettle is made of stainless steel with six buttons with different temperature settings, a start button, keep warm and the open button that allows you to open the lid so you can add water.

PROs

- This kettle is wireless, which allows you to carry the kettle and serve tea or coffee in an adjacent room. You have perfect temperatures for green tea, for coffee etc. It will remember the setting when you return it to the base.

- If you are having a tea party and your guests want different types of tea, you can start with the tea that requires the lowest temperature then press the button for the next temperature and so on and so on.

- The water level view is on the back where the handle is as opposed to other kettles which have it on the side. This makes it easy to view, without having to twist your hand to see what level your water is at. It also has a blue led light at the bottom, which allows you to see the water level even in the dark.

- Delicate tea at 165, green tea at 175, white at 185, oolong tea at 190, French Press at 200 and black tea at boil temperature. This kettle allows you to make French Press coffee, which requires very hot water that is not boiling.

- You can use the regular boil settings for everything else, such jello etc.

- The warm setting maintains the temperature, so you can make another cup of coffee later.

- There is a filter, to filter out any impurities in the water so that they never make it into your cup of tea. This filter is easily removable and washable.

- It holds 1.7 liters of water and can swivel freely 360 degrees.

How does it work?

You open the lid and pour some water in the kettle. Then you sit the kettle on the base. Select the temperature you desire the button will light up in blue and press then start button.

Unboxing

Inside the box, at the top you will find a manual and a set of button stickers for a different language such as French or Spanish. Inside the manual you will find a table that shows you how long it takes to boil water to a certain temperature. There is the kettle itself and at the bottom of the box is the heating base.
